Our first product, Flaca Granola, is more than breakfastâitâs a heartfelt offering. Made with organic oats, lightly sweetened with maple syrup, and free from inflammatory seed oils, itâs clean, nourishing, and safe (no glyphosate-sprayed grains here!).
The name âFlacaâ comes from my sisterâs lifelong nickname for meâSpanish for âskinny.â It carries warmth, family, and positivity, and since this granola supports healthy weight goals, it felt like the perfect fit.
But Fig Tree Naturals is about more than food. After working with refugees and seeing how at-risk children face trafficking and exploitation, I knew I had to help. Thatâs why a portion of every Flaca Granola sale funds education for vulnerable childrenâturning your breakfast into something bigger.

Miriam is the heart and head (baker) behind our granola. Guided by her love for the Creator and a passion for helping othersâespecially the most vulnerableâshe infuses every batch with love and purpose. When sheâs not baking up crunchy goodness, youâll probably find her in some corner of the world on a mission trip with her best friend, chasing sunsets on sandy beaches, or adding a touch of pink sparkle to life wherever she goes.
As our self-appointed Chief Eating Officer (CEO), Aleksandar makes sure no granola leaves without passing the most important testâhis taste buds. Heâs Miriamâs biggest fan, strongest supporter, and the creative mastermind behind our designs and website. Famous for his legendary smoothies and endless waffle creations, Aleksandar is full of energy and joy. Above all, his greatest goal is to let Godâs love shine brighter each day through everything he does.
Jasmina is our resident dietitian pro and plant-powered foodie. Sheâs worked in USA, Australia, and Germany helping people achieve healthy weight and vibrant health. In the kitchen, she loves experimenting with plant-based goodness, always finding new ways to make healthy eating delicious. Jasmina proudly gives her seal of approval to all the whole-health yumminess at Fig Tree Naturals.
